My 1.6 year old Yorkie boy hasn't drunk any water since yesterday evening. I am so worried he might get dehydrated. How can I get him to drink?
He was having bloody diarrhea yesterday and I was advised not to give him any food for one day to clean up his stomach (our vet thinks it was upset stomach that caused diarrhea since he was treated for worms and fully vaccinated). It seems this worked as his diarrhea stopped, so I will try to cook him some plain rice, but I am worried as he doesn't drink any water??????
We just moved town so we cannot ask his vet to come here, and the vet in this town won't come (as they say he's not an emergency case!). I am so stressed as I can't drive Teddy there (I'm pregnant and was prescribed bed rest) and my husband is out of town till tomorrow. Please please help and pray for Teddy.
