im sorry he is still having so much pain. that is very hard. i know exactly what you mean. my dh will not have a 4th surgery as it may leave him in a wheel chair and hes not ready to go that direction. i will continue to keep ur dh in my thoughts and prayers. it does make you stronger but that doesnt mean it still doesnt suck!! tough times are trying but you keep on keeping on! wishing you the best outcome.
