The thing that aggrivates us is that regardless of how nice the hotel is ... the first thing we have to do when we check in is go over the entire room, especially the floor, for things that Toto can get into. You would be surprised at the yukky stuff under the edge of the spread, etc. |
Thank you!!!! Glad you enjoyed my post. That trip was just unbelieveable, I am glad that I can look back and laugh about it now. If you could have seen the people in the lobby yelling at the manager's about my little dog, you would have probably ran out of that hotel as fast as you could! We spend days, huddled in the bar watching the reports on TV about Katrina together. Sitting in a hotel, far away, not knowing if all that you brought with you is all that you have left... we were all frayed at the seams. All it took was a little lady, yelling in the lobby to set them off. I was known as the lobby lady for the entire trip. I would get on an elavator and someone would never fail to say "ain't you that lobby lady". After the 4th day, I started introducing myself as the Lobby Lady, my daughter I nicknamed the Lobby baby and Gracie was the Lobby dog. And by the way, suddenly, after that "lobby" insident, dogs upon dogs came out of nowhere. They were all over the hotel! Guess I was not the only one hiding a dog!
If we have to evacuate again, I am having them fax me something in writing stating that I can bring Gracie.
