I don't know if I could do it either....my little guy likes to bark....We have a motorhome so that helps a lot, but there are time that we can't take it or don't want to take it....I always try to find a pet friendly hotel/motel....but it can be hard and if that was the case, he would go in with us. I would be afraid to leave him alone....you never know what happens in a room when you are gone!!!
