I used to ship my dogs via Delta VIP-Pet service....never had an incidence of anything like this....they are very strict about the temperature parameters....will not fly a dog if temp over 85* . Thank God Southwest has started allowing pets to fly in the cabin, so I just do that now....usually my new owner comes to pick their baby up....Southwest Airlines prices are the most economical and the pet fee is $75.00, so it is in most cases less expensive than "shipping".....and obviously, a lot safer! |
