One way to help is to quit giving into his barking. Plus he needs to be somewhere away form all of the foot traffic to avoid waking up each time he hears someone move. It is going to be a hard and long road to having a well behaved pup. but it is very possible with hard work and consistency with your training tecniques by everynoe in the family pitching in.

I have had dogs my whole life and I now have four Yorkeis that I trained with great success. Here is a link to my site with tips on how I have trained my dogs ! It may or may not work but it's worth a try.
