That's so funny about the Biewer informing of the vet!
My vet noted how rare Elvis was and said she didn't get to see many Biewers as they're such a rare breed.
When I told her Elvis was a purebred AKC yokie she looked puzzled, I said he's just a parti yorkie...she laughed at me!
The receptionist had a good laugh too apparently their pc system notes the breed and the coloration...they don't hace a parti yorkie option on the software so Elvis is listed as a Biewer Yorkie mix!!!
So glad you too found a small breed vet, makes so much a difference IMHO.

It really was funny, the look on his face, even his office manager was dumbfounded! I made sure they added 'Biewer' to their data base...They were going to list her as a mix....of what I don't know..
I found this vet by sheer coincedence...was going next door to buy food, and decided to go in and ask some questions. Made the appointment on the spot...they even listed the nearest ER vet, good for me since I had no idea where it was.
She was 3.5lbs at 12 wks so we shall see..according to the 'chart' she sould be around 6-7lls. Right in between Orion, 11.2lbs and Raelle, 5lbs.
I'll have all sizes!!
The white is blinding...had to give her a bath yesterday, made a bit of a mess in her crate...bad mommy didn't get there quick enough! She held out as long as she could, was quite upset with me and let me know it....gave me a good 'talking to'!!
