Congratulations wow, 6, that is a lot of pups , Right after whelping you shuld start , and depends of what calcium supplement you are using I am using Animed Di Cal and My Delilah had 4 girls yesterday, she is getting 2 teaspoons a day, one in the morning with her breakfast and 1 with her before bed meal, also she should be getting at least 4 helpings of whelping pudding a day.. Calcium is VERY important during and after whelping until the pups are wean..Also is VERY important to give her the right calcium , it should a calcium and phosphorus combination to be very effective. Before using the Di Cal I used Doc Roys Bone tabs, very good also.
