Yorkies are a toy breed dog. They start out much smaller than most dogs. A 6 week old puppy would hardly be weaned. Mother dogs should be starting to wean at 5 weeks but it should be done as a process. It is not something that is done quickly.

Puppies learn their social skills, like about wrestling and biting, for their mother and other litter mates. When they are taken from the mom at such a young age they never lean about bit inhibition and other interactions.

A 6 week old toy breed puppy is at risk going places. It does not have immunity build up and can pick up diseases easily. Should be kept indoors and away from other dogs. I would assume this puppy is very afraid at this point and is feeling very defensive around other dogs.

What do you do to put this baby "in line?"
