I hope your little one is feeling better.... just for the record... the initial whining was most likely from the anesthesia. When dogs come out of surgery, when they first begin to really wake up, they will whine and even howl. Then after about an hour or so they will whine a bit then sleep on and off as the anesthesia gets processed out of their system. Some pups may act a bit loopy for up to two days after a surgery. Don't trust her around stairs or furniture for the first few days, till you know for sure she's okay and thinking clearly.
