Default My yorkie and the new BF.

So those of you who know me, know that these past two months have been a HUGE change for Harley and I (moving, law school, break-up), also on a side note, I miss you all, but I've been so darn busy that every free moment goes to actually walking Harley, I've had no time to come on here.

Well he's been super through most the changes, but I'm looking for advice about a totally new situation for me.

Since arriving at school I've connected with this guy I met at one of the info sessions back in March. Well we hit it off, and are now dating. He's totally a dog person which I'm thankful for and he loves Harley, Harley thankfully loves him too. He even has yet to complain about Harley sleeping with us, if he crashes at my place, or the fact that if we're cuddling on my couch a little fuzz-ball wiggles his way between us.

Here's the issue. Harley has been getting more and more needy, and well two nights ago the new bf crashed at my place and Harley wouldn't let either of us sleep. Mr. Center-of-attention kept pawing at blankets, licking us, jumping on us, and when he did fall asleep I got up to go to the bathroom and he wouldn't let me back in the bed. I don't want to kick the him out of the room, but neither of us got sleep and we had an early day of classes the next day. I've been trying to walk Harley more than usual and give him as much play and attention as possible. So for those who let their babies sleep with them, and have introduced a new guy into the mix... any advice? I don't wanna drive this guy away by testing his patience too fast, lol. I feel bad crating Harley, but I'm starting to think if he deprives me or us of sleep I may have to. Thoughts???
