Cali may have Liver Shunt her Bile Acid came back high (90) I am trying to find low protein foods to give her until she is positively diagnosed. She is an extremely picky eater, if she likes something she will eat it otherwise she won't. She has been on a hamburger and rice diet for a few days and she picks out every piece of rice and only eats the hamburger. I had been boining it put today she wouldn't eat at all until tonight when I fried some and drained it real well, then she ate it all up. I am at a loss on what to feed her until she has further testing. Alos she hasn't pooped since Wednesday night after She came home form the Er vet. She had diarhhea and is on 2 meds. How long can they go without pooping?
Sorry this is so long but I am so frustrated and upset. Everytime Cali lays down I'm afraid she's sick.
