Make sure you give her pain meds as ordered...if she still has times when she looks like she is in distress, as in panting, whining, continually repositioning and cant get comfortable, call your vet BEFORE he closes and you are maybe forking out 2x as much $$$ for an emergency vet, and ask him what is the maximum dosing of pain med you can safely give her....she seems to be in pain and you want her comfortable....he will give you a wider parameter for her dosing....then if she looks like she is hurting at say 2am, rather than getting in a panic (like I did once!!..... and rushing off to the ER because you think she has thrown a blood clot to her lungs) you can increase her dose of pain med and get her some relief. The loose stools can be from a number of things...stress, the extra fluids she got during surgery, the antibiotics or the pain med, etc....like chachi said, pumpkin will help that, if she will take it....
