Yes, she's just had surgery today, of course she's in pain but it sounds like her pain medication is not working well enough. Dogs with terrible injuries on the street/in the wild sleep every day. Dogs are stoic creatures by nature often to all but acute, sudden pain and are genetically predisposed not to show pain for fear of rejection or attack. I would call the vet.
