I was reffered to yorkie talk by luvmymonkies (heather). Please be patient with me I learning how to use a computer on line.I have been breeding toy dogs for 23 years. Yorkies for 7 years. I was an animal health tech for 10 years, working for day and E.R. clinics. I have shown toy poodles and co-own a chinese crested (powder puff) who is being shown now. I am currently a dog groomer. Right now I am handraising 5 yorkie babies. That's another story. The love of my life is my yorkie son Bugaboo. He was born with a cleft palate that was mis-diagnosed. By the time the vets figured it out he was 5weeks old and I had been handraising him too(that seems to be my calling) I could not bare to put him to sleep, which is what is normally reccomended. He had a strong will to live. By the way is also very small. When he was 9 weeks old and barely a pound he had surgery on his palate. Unfortunetly it did not work, infact it made it worse. But if you ever meet Bugaboo you would'nt know , only that he sneezes a lot when he gets excited. I am working on a website which will feature Ask Bugaboo.I have resisted modern technology long enough. Well I hope I be of some help to a yorkie lover.
