Honestly, I haven't put anything on Jackson in a few months. It seems like every time I do, is when I start seeing ticks!
I swear the ticks around here are attracted to the stuff... lol
Frontline became useless for us - I would find ticks on him all the time. When we do use it, we use K9 Advantix. Seems to work better. But I haven't seen a tick all summer and the last time I applied Advantix was back in June. And he's always outdoors, and in long grass, and wooded areas, etc... I just do it on a case-by-case basis. I mean, if I start seeing a lot of ticks around, I will give him a dose, but we don't do it every 30 days by any means. The only thing I'm a stickler about is the heartworm meds monthly.
