This is my basic setup without my expen surrounding the area. I haven't gotten that up yet.
I do not have her whelp in her whelping pen, but actually in a large blanket on the floor next to the supply boxes and boxes of warming towels and scale. The drawers I use are stackables, so I can just open them all on the floor next to me for easier access. Top drawer has all of the whelping supplies for mama, middle drawer has puppy supplies, and bottom one is paper towels, potty pads and extra stuff we may need. On top I have my stethoscopes, dopplers and tossable hand towels, which I LOVE as well as 2 bottles of hand sanitizer. The rubber maid next to the stackables is where I keep my towels which are warming in my puppy incubator, so each baby gets a nice warm towel to dry off with.
I will take pics of what is in my drawers when I get back upstairs.
My whelping box right now is very large, but I will partition it to the size needed for mama and babies. Of course we also have heating pads in the whelping box as well as the puppy incubator. I decided with 6 pups the one I use with Bella may be too small. It is also pretty high up, and don't think Miss T is tall enough to be able to jump in. (We have a door cut into it, but our puppies always find their way out, so we blocked the door. LOL I may change it out, to the one that we use with Bella, I just haven't decided yet. On that one we can cover it to keep the heat in better.)
