I see this almost every day. One will just sit there when my guys go outside to Potty, and when they see the Squirrel they start "stalking". Then when they charge, the Squirrel will allow them to get close, THEN do a fast cut to the right or left and quickly run up a tree and chatter, as they flip their tails back and forth.

HA! Sounds like your squirrels have talk to my squirrels! This morning there was one at the base of a tree and Georgie was looking and looking (I almost thought he didn't see him). The squirrel just sat there looking at him. Then.....charge!!!! As soon as Georgie made it to the tree there the squirrel went!
