That flea could have just jumped on and not bitten yet. Also, it depends on your flea control med.....some merely sterilize the flea that bites so she cannot lay viable eggs and breaks the flea life cycle that way. So you may still see live fleas. Other meds work by actually killing the flea that bites.
I would think you could keep your Yorkie shaved during the winter if she's kept indoors and only goes out potty. Or wears a sweater or coat to go for walks in the cold weather. I keep Tink long year round so I don't have first hand experience there.... |
