I haven't had a dog that had lumps from a Benadryl injection but sounds like those are what are tender and she's being protective, even when being just bumped as when almost stepped on. Did the vet say what caused the lumps from Benadryl? Maybe you could call and ask what to do about the lumps and if he needs to see them, give her something mild for pain? Does she have a normal temperature? Stopped the honking cough? If she's still coughing or behaving oddly in any other way, standing a while in one position with her head a little down, sleeping a lot, hypersensitive to sound, etc., I'd get a chest x-ray & have some tests done just in case something else going on. Could be she's still having a little reaction to the chemicals the exterminator sprayed, in addition to her sore lumps.
