The 1st time I did this, my benny he freak out and started to run around the house and yip and little bit as if he was naked or something. But after I let him soak in a soothing tub of water mixed with Show season's Sooth shampoo he calmed down. I think his skin was just hot and irritated from the shave.
Treating them for fleas and ticks is so much better then having them suffer from them in my opinion. I have heard frontine is not working in many places but we use advantix II here and no problems really. If he runs around yelping you should make sure the clippers are not getting hot and causing him razor burn.
