Please help! A friend of mine who knows nothing about dogs has left a deposit with this breeder. I would appreciate any input. Are there particular red flags here? She tells me she is only looking for a pet and is convinced that this breeder is great. I am trying to stear her away from them. Maybe someone can provide me with a breeder or contact in the tristate area (ny/nj/ct) to help me out. Is there someone in rescue in my area who can advise? I just need somewhere to start so I can help find a nice puppy for my friend, otherwise I am afraid she will buy one from the site above.
