I'm so happy to hear she is ok. But keep an eye on her as she could go down hill very fast.

I brought my new puppy home yesterday. She is also 8wks and weighs 520gms. She has been fine and was so hungry when we got her home after a 3 & a 1/2 hr drive. I fed her straight away and she ate as though their was no tomorrow. She has been drinking fine just keeping me up now at night.
I've had her in bed with me as she cried so much. But was restless. Then got up and have been sitting with her since 03.30. I didn't want to disturb my hubby as he has been sick.
I was also very weary about wee's and poo's in bed with me!
What do all you other new mom's do for night time feeding and sleeping and potty time through the night??

In South Africa we always bring our puppies home at 8wks unless they are exceptionally small or if you want a show dog ..then the breeder keeps them longer.
Mine has played and tried making friends with our dachie..was so cute.

Good Luck with your new little one xxx
