Pat, as an owner and a future possible breeder, of Biewers, I would love to see them classified as a totally different breed, not just a color varation, but I'm sure that it's going to be a long haul. I think along with the white coloring there come other traits, such as tails, that aren't exactly the same as a regular colored Yorkshire Terrier so it would be hard to judge them by the same specs (besides color)...
