It doesn't auto update. I only had issue w the wifi in the few hours before the io6 update was official. That was the only thing my brother could think it was. I was able to access wifi just fine in the same location hours earlier. Even did reset power off.
Actually, it could access wifi bit would only bring me to the apple website with no address bar on top so I could only surf on the apple site
I even tried calling apple support and said I would have to buy support for $19.99 each use unless I already had the extended care. I ended up clicking on the find store locations so I was going to actually go down to a store and ask the , when lo and behold I clicked the find locations link and I was able to access everything.
Everything is working just fine now.
