I'm like Yorkiemom1 - why didn't Houston Police Department officers answering your call for help know this law unless it's restricted to certain settings, locations or situations? The danger those officers were willing to leave you in is still astounding to me! I would be sitting in the Chief of Police's office one day soon and work down from there, ending up with those officers' supervisor!
