And yes, when I adopted her I took her to the vet and she had two huge bladder stones removed so now she's on science diet CD. She holds it in the crate and at night so I don't think that that's the issue. I've tried closing her off from all rooms except where I am and I think it works but then I'll forget to close s door and she does it. How does she learn "outside only"? |
Some Yorkies can produce stones rather quickly. Did the vet say what kind of stones they were?
You can teach her outside only by giving her a treat and overly praising her when she does it right, outside. Eventually she'll understand. Also, tell her 'Go Potty' and she'll learn the command while she's doing the action.
