Tibbe gets his regular kibble made into treats by soaking it, microwaving it about 20 minutes until hard, cooling/drying out for a day or so and breaking into small bits. Than I put it in his Treat Jar and anything that comes out of there is super special to him. He loves it just as well as his old treats and it's something that doesn't add extra sugar or bad things to his diet and his sensitive little stomach. Sometimes he will come and spontaneously roll over or sit up, just to get a treat. He loves his homemade treats. I guess it's like having a potato either boiled, baked or french fried - different ways of cooking can change a certain taste and consistency of something quite dramatically. Anyway, he loves his treats to death and when I call him always comes running from outside or another room since he knows sometimes he gets a treat when he does!
