Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone can suggest an alternative to Interceptor and Heartgard. Lilly gets diarrhea every time she has heartgard and so we tried the Interceptor and it worked beautifully for her. I only have one pill left of the Interceptor and I see that it has been recalled/out of production for at least 4 months. Evidently Interceptor is made at the same factory as Excedrin/Bufferin/NoDoz so that is why they halted production similar to Excedrin etc. I really don't want to give Lilly the Heartgard if there is another product that she can use that won't upset her tummy. One alternative I saw was something called Iverhart (I could be misspelling it) but that is the generic for Heartgard so I'd imagine it would have the same effects on her as Heartgard. Any suggestions would be most welcome!!

OH, I should also mention that Lilly has MVD, Microvascular dysplasia and she is on medicine to protect her liver and a special low residue diet and "gentle snackers" treats. Not sure if that would factor in but I figured I'd give you all the info!!
