 Trixie has LP - now what??
Trixie is almost 3 and hurt herself about a week ago. She has been tucking her left back leg on and off and the vet said that he knee keeps popping out of place. They gave her rimadryl and fimotadine (sp) to reduce the inflammation and coesequin to help rebuild the cartilage.
The vet has not recommended an ortho yet and wondering if it's premature or if delaying will make it worse. She also didn't grade the LP.
How do I keep her off the couches now?? She is afraid of steps....when she first got hurt we tried them for our bed and she popped her knee out getting up the steps....
