i need some help. my female is nursing her first litter, they where born january 19 th. today she is panting like she is thirsty and she is restless. going in and out of her cage and running around. i think she was biting one of the puppies because it was crying. i have her on puppyfood because she is nursing. is she lacking something in her diet for her to be acting this way? i called the vets but they are closed. could someone tell me what to do?
