I know that all this waking up IS extreme and I am sure it is because she wants to be on the bed the whole night. But even if she was on the bed, she would wake up because she wants to eat and she will bop my face with her paw till I get up, or she will even head butt my legs. Just give her a good firm "NO!" if she tries to wake you up. Gracie gets bossy with me sometimes when it is time to go for her walk. If I can't leave right then she will start barking at me. I tell her no nicely a couple of times and then give her the big "NO!" and she lays down and naps till I am ready.
Stubborn dog with a huge personality? That is a perfect description of a Yorkie!
