To your #1: I think it's also good to let them know what is being used on them. We give Tigger his brush to smell and sniff before we brush him. We also show him the hairdryer and let him sniff that as well (unplugged of course). He's great with both of them and actually loves the hair dryer, but we used to put his brush on the floor and let him explore with it for a while before brushing him. Just my opinion. |
