Personally, I wouldn't use any poison on a dog with a compromised liver. Look into using chemical free options, especially if fleas/ticks aren't a huge problem. There are many essential oils and other options that are far safer. As a short term solution, bathe her with Original Dawn, let the suds sit on her for a bit and really shampoo her good, Dawn will cause most of the fleas to drown.
