Update Dolly's Well found found out she does not have a yeast infection or mites. Diagnosis: Allergic dermatitis (rule out food vs atopy) Treatment/therapy: (1) give anti-inflammatory for 3 days and then every other day for 3 days. (2) Shampoo Dermalyte Shampoo: Bath once weekly lateherleave on 10-15 min before thoroughly rinsing with cool water. (3) use dermallay oatmeal conditioner .(4)Use DUOXO Chlorhexidine 3% wipes. Wipe feet and perianal area twice daily for 2 weeks and then once daily there for bacterial infection this is where she has been licking here little butt and feet(5)Allerderm Spot on:use once a week after bathing for one month.. I had changed her food from BB to Hills ultra allergen I am to continue this for another 8 weeks if after 8 more weeks and she is still itchy. Will put her on Atopica. Glad I took her to the U of I they did a complete physical exam,however she does have luxating patellas but said when we gets a little older well put her on a bone supplement |
