I am so sorry to hear about California Lily's passing, and that you are having to go through this emotional devastation again so soon after losing Benjamin. I am sad you are feeling defeated because I admire you for bringing the sweet babies into you home and heart and giving them a wonderful life no matter how long/short it was. You made a difference in their lives and now are paying such a hard emotional price for opening your home and heart.
