I would say Katie Scarlett was 99% house trained within the first 6 months we had her. Once in a blue moon she might have an accident, mostly poopie. She starts on the pad but then will wander off, but at least it is on the hardwood floor and not carpet. We used the Potty Training Puppy Apartment system and it worked wonders for us.
