Peanut doesn't really "attack" his food either, he kinda eats like a cat. Sometimes he will take a kibble in his mouth and walk away and jump in his toy box and crunch his food in there.. I have no idea why, I just let him do what he wants as long as he is eating I don't care how!
I think some Yorkies are just finicky eaters- Does he eat his serving in his food daily? If he is I wouldn't change it just yet, If he is doing well on it I would just leave it as it is.. if he isn't eating enough than I would recommend finding something he likes.
