Ya, exactly! I mean, if we see fetus on the ultrasound, we could get a good idea by their size and development if the dad was big or small, but it's really hard to know much, and it could be extremely dangerious for her ;( I have to say, I'd probably be leaning towards aborting if the vet felt there was any way she was well enough to handle being spayed immediately. It may sound horrible, but to me, Lily is what's important, and if she died having the babies, I'd feel awful! Not to mention that, sadly, there is no lack of yorkies and yorkie mixes in the shelters and in the classifieds here ;( So many die because there just aren't enough good committed homes to keep up with all these back yard breeders pumping then out constantly
