I hold my three on my lap and start at the back and work my way up...its once a day for all three and they know I dont take no mess from them, so they just sit and let me do what is needed.
I use a blow dryer set on cool to dry them, and I use Bio-groom products...smells wonderful and leaves their coat really shiney.
