One thing I have found when working with rescues is they are often over whelmed by everything. Sometimes they take awhile to trust just one person. Go slow and allow her some space. Let her know that your home is a stable place. Create a good routine of feeding , play , grooming and walks. Be careful not to reenforce shy behavior by showing pity. It is ok to be gentle and loving. Congrats
