This is stretch velvet and slips over the head. It's lightweight and comfy and she LOVES it! No buttons or velcro (not a big fan of velcro).
I think I'm gonna go make her some more  | I discovered the snaps they use on baby cloth diaper covers!! I love them. They come in different sizes and colors and are so much easier than sewing on Velcro or buttons.
And I dont use patterns very often. I don't care for them. I prefer to make my own. My grandma taught me how years ago to save money (she was on a limited budget).
