Make sure when you measure the chest that you pull the tape directly against the skin, behind the front legs. The more accurate the measurement, the better chance of getting the right size the first time.
My 2 boys have the same chest size, 14 inches, but Teddy is 8 pounds and Max is 9+ pounds. Teddy wears the 3.5 comfortably, but Max wears the 4 because he has big upper arms. There is plenty of chest room on both -- they wear the BBs on tight settings (there are 5 holes/settings), but they need the leg room in the "arm holes."  |
