I agree...the highest quality you can afford with the least amount of undesirable ingredients. I have no idea what Wal-Mart sells, but if you need to buy from there, you might take a look for Iams Healthy Natural *green and beige bag) and/or Hi Tek Naturals. I know people who like both and I've read the ingredients on the Iams and it seems pretty clean...don't know about GMO aspect, of course, and it's not organic...but I've talked to people who had very healthy pets who were fed it. Online...? The sky's the limit, and some very good ones were already mentioned. Good luck!
