My grandbaby is 9 mos also and I started him on blue buffalo but he seems to eat better with wellness so i'm gonna stick with it! both are good you can get at petco or petsmart. Also they have websites where you can order food online if you cant find it locally. Mr.chewy.com seems okay.... good luck
