My vet is also a fan of Revolution. I started my Aussie off on it and then I listened to another animal freak and she had me convinced that it wasn't as effective as using a seperate heartworm medication and Frontline. I asked my vet and since I seemed so hesitant and inquisitive he said he was going to switch us off the Revolution and try the other and then let me make the decision. I never had a problem with the Revolution. I was afraid that if I forgot to put it on then we would be without heartworm prevention. I have given him his pill regularly so far. It does seem to cost the same for either way. Who knows, I might switch back. |
