I was at my drug store picking up a prescription and on the counter to the left of me someone had left a bag of those jerky treats. After I paid for my medicine I picked up the bag and turned to my young adult daughter and told her in a bit of a high volume voice that she should never buy these treats (she does not have a dog) Then I continued about how they have been killing hundreds of dogs because of the China made ingredients in them. There was quite a line of people there plus other shoppers. I thought my daughter was going to die of embarrassment because I had deliberately said this so loud in front of so many people. I told her when we got to the car that it was the least I could do in making a public service announcement about the foul product in order to warn other people who might be dog owners in the store. She didn't agree with me. Sometimes I wonder if maybe she got switched at birth.
