Wow. I won't say too much not knowing all the circumstances. If it was hot out, that alone could make a puppy very ill. If there was any kind of milk on the food ,of course, milk in the heat is going to go bad quickly. Any food can go bad quickly in the heat. Hope they all get better soon.
I have to add my two cents though. Leaving puppies outside unattended in any weather is not a good idea. Bugs can get in the food, heat or cold related issues are just a couple of possibilities. Small breed puppies in particular are more susceptible to possible problems.
