We usually let him free-feed, he never eats all his kibbles at once. I give him 3/4 cup of food in the morning and it lasts him all day. My mom suggested taking the food away and just feeding him a little at a time, he still has access to his water dish at all times.
The first time he threw up, I had been doing some training/ tricks with him and was giving him small pieces of cooked turkey breast as a treat. I stopped giving him anything but his kibbles since the first incident (2 nights ago), but he's still throwing up. Anyone have any suggestions? Do I need to take him to the vet? He's still very active..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It could be a simple thing as eating too quickly. There are some bowls that are made to help out with this. They have some high bumpy things at the bottom of the bowl, so the dog has to work to get to the kibble.
If you have not had full blood work done, including a BATS test, I would highly suggest you do so. BATS testing is not so expensive maybe $60 or so.
