Sad Hard Stomach

Tucker has always had stomach issues, he had a hernia repair at 4 months old. His stomach is constantly hard. He is on SD I/D because anything else makes him sick. The last time he was severly ill, even thou he wasnt technically diagnoised with pancreatis his vet said that she was leaning towards it and probably will have more than one bout, hence the rx diet. Somedays he is just clearly uncomfortable, he hides under the computer stand, he wont jump up on the furniture etc, but his poop is normal and he eats fine. His last xrayed didnt show much but possible gas, vet said his hernia isnt the issue.
His blood work came back fine. Does anyone know what it could be? Is it caused because of gas? Would the rx diet help that?
Thanks in advance..
